Hi There, I'm CJ.

Hi There, I'm CJ.

Thank you so much for taking the time to ready my initial email message & even clicking the link to get here.

My name is Cj & I would love to work/collaborate with you.

I know assisting /second-shooting for someone requires a lot of trust, knowledge & go-getter attitude. I have over two years of experience underneath my belt. I am passionate about wedding photography & always strive to go far & beyond to fulfill the want & needs of those I work with. I know you probably get 100 emails a week, but let me tell you how I can help you and your business.

| The Fundamentals |

  • Team Player

As your assistant or second shooter I fully understand I’m a representation of you & your business. To be selfless and understand that I’m here to help you capture the images you want & need for you to deliver for the client & further showcase their wedding day.

  • Open Communication

I’m the most approachableI person you’ll probably ever meet, I also strive to create a safe space to communicate. I always want to know and be aware of your needs & wants and fully commit to obtaining it & also know what maybe some of your personal “no-no’s”. And last but not least, I’m always open to feedback. I’m all ears open.

  • Premium Assistance

I will do my ultimate best to make sure the day runs smoothly. I will carry your bags, fix the dress when needed,, keep an eye on the timeline & make sure we’re on track & last but not least make sure you’re hydrated throughout the day.

GUIDANCE | CONNECTION | EXPERTISE

As your assistant, I know how important it is to showcase the wedding day but who gets to showcase you & all the hard work you do? That’s where I come in. I’ll stick to you like gum but in a very discrete way & I document you working the whole day. I can send multiple clips I’ve taken of both you and the wedding day and/or create a small highlight reel of the wedding day specifically made for you!

Behind The Scenes

SECOND SHOOTER

EXPERIENCE

01.

CANDIDS

I really enjoy grabbing candid shots - I think this is one of my strengths. Always looking for a reaction, whether that be from the bride, groom or family members. Do it in such a discrete way where I don’t interfere or make them uncomfortable which allows the expression to be more natural.

02.

GRIN & GRABS

I like getting out of my comfort zone and simply asking people “can I get a photo of you guys”. 9/10 people are always going to say “yes” & this is where you can have a human interaction with someone aside from the bride & groom. It’s also a good way to make people feel comfortable or less intimidated when someone is walking around with a camera.

03.

COMPLEMENTARY ANGELS

I know weddings can get hectic & I always shoot different from the lead - meaning, If you’re shooting front and center I’m off to the side getting a different angle and with a different focal length. I’m never at arms length from the main photographer while shooting unless told otherwise.
